Julie Greer
Julie Greer has over 25 years' experience in development control, specialising in urban design and conservation.
She set up GreerPritchard in 2009, focusing on the delivery of urban planning and masterplanning advice to public and private sector clients, securing planning permisssion and listed building consent for major mixed-use developments across London, as well as Guildford, Ashford and Devon.
For three years she was a Design Advisor for the Olympic Delivery Authority, where she managed the Legacy Masterplan Framework (Evolution Phase), the Lighting Strategy and the Wayfinding Strategy.
Julie led the Design, Conservation & Archaeology team at the London Borough of Southwark for seven years, where she managed the design and conservation response of some of the largest regeneration projects and masterplans in London. She has also worked for the Cities of Westminster, Wandsworth and Barnet.
Julie Greer is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, the Historic Institute of Building Conservation and Urban Design Group. She has established a wider public profile including roles at Design Council CABE, and on a number of London Borough Design Review Panels, including Southwark, Wandsworth and CABE's National Panel, and the Commission for a Sustainable London 2012.
Julie studied Urban and Regional Planning at Ryerson University, Toronto, and holds a post graduate degree from the University of Westminster and the Architectural Association (Building Conservation).
